Responsible Gaming
At Spins House, we believe that online gaming should be an entertaining and enjoyable pastime. Our primary commitment is to provide a safe, secure, and fair gaming environment. Equally important is our commitment to promoting responsible gambling and preventing compulsive or underage play. This Responsible Gaming Policy outlines the tools, resources, and principles we adhere to protect our players.
Our Commitment
As a licensee of the Curacao eGaming Authority, we are dedicated to implementing and upholding the highest standards of player protection. We recognize that while most people gamble for fun and within their means, for a small minority, it can become a problem. We take our duty of care seriously and encourage all our players to Gamble Responsibly.
1. Recognizing the Signs of Problem Gambling
Gambling becomes a problem when it ceases to be a controlled form of entertainment. Ask yourself the following questions:
- Do you gamble to escape worry, stress, or boredom?
- Do you spend more time or money on gambling than you intended?
- Have you ever lied to friends or family about how much you gamble or how much you’ve lost?
- Have you ever tried to win back losses by gambling more (“chasing losses”)?
- Does gambling cause you to neglect work, family, or personal responsibilities?
- Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or considered illegal acts to fund gambling?
- Do you feel anxious, depressed, or irritable when trying to cut down on gambling?
Answering “yes” to any of these questions may indicate a gambling problem. We urge you to use our tools below and seek external help immediately.
2. Tools for Responsible Play at Spins House
We provide a suite of powerful tools within your account settings to help you stay in control. These are easy to set, modify, or remove (subject to a cooling-off period).
A. Personal Limits (Pre-Commitment Tools)
You can set binding limits on your gambling activity. These are the most effective way to control your play.
- Deposit Limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on how much money you can deposit.
- Loss Limits: Set a limit on the net losses you can incur within a chosen timeframe.
- Wagering Limits: Limit the total amount you can bet in a given period.
- Session Time Limit: Receive an alert and be logged out after a predetermined period of continuous play.
- Reality Check: A pop-up notification that appears at regular intervals (e.g., every 30 minutes) to remind you how long you have been playing.
How it works: Once a limit is set, it cannot be increased or removed until the cooling-off period (24 hours, 7 days, or 1 month, depending on the limit type) has elapsed. A decrease in limits takes effect immediately.
B. Time-Out (Take a Break)
If you feel you need a short break from gambling, you can use our Time-Out feature.
- You can suspend your account for a period of 24 hours, 7 days, 1 month, or 6 weeks.
- During this period, you will not be able to log in, deposit, or gamble. Any active bonuses will be forfeited.
- The Time-Out period is irreversible and will only expire after the chosen timeframe.
C. Self-Exclusion
If you believe you have lost control and need a longer period of exclusion, Self-Exclusion is the most serious step.
- You can request a minimum 6-month or permanent self-exclusion from our services.
- This action is irreversible for the chosen period. You will not be able to reopen your account or create a new one.
- Upon self-excluding:
- Your account will be immediately closed.
- All remaining balances will be returned to you, subject to standard withdrawal verification.
- You will be removed from all marketing communications.
- We will take reasonable steps to block your future attempts to register.
- To initiate Self-Exclusion, please contact our Customer Support team at [email protected] with the subject line “Self-Exclusion Request.”
3. Protecting Vulnerable Players
A. Underage Gambling Prevention
It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to gamble. We employ stringent age verification checks:
- We verify age and identity during registration and before first withdrawal.
- We may request official documentation at any point.
- Any account found to be used by a minor will be closed immediately, all winnings forfeited, and deposits returned.
Parents and Guardians: We recommend using internet filtering software to prevent underage access and keeping payment details secure. If you believe a minor has accessed our site, contact us immediately.
B. Player Risk Assessment
Our systems continuously monitor play patterns for signs of problematic behavior, such as excessive time or money spent, chasing losses, or gambling outside of normal hours. If we detect such patterns, we may contact you to check on your wellbeing, suggest you review your limits, or, in serious cases, restrict your account.

5. Our Employee Training
All Spins House employees, especially those in customer support, receive comprehensive training on responsible gambling. Our team is trained to:
- Recognize signs of problem gambling.
- Handle requests for limits, time-outs, and self-exclusion sensitively and efficiently.
- Signpost players to appropriate help resources.
- Understand and enforce our policies on underage and vulnerable players.
6. Fairness and Reality
- Gambling is Not a Solution to Financial Problems. It is a form of entertainment with a cost.
- The Odds are Always in the Casino’s Favor. In the long term, you are expected to lose.
- You Cannot Influence Random Outcomes. All our games use certified Random Number Generators (RNGs). There are no “winning systems.”
- Advertisements. Our marketing material never suggests that gambling is a guarantee of success, a solution to financial issues, or a necessary part of a social lifestyle.
